The proprietors of Beach House are Tony and Helen Thomas.  I, Helen, am responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery.  I have two daughters.  I have worked with children for many years, previously as a child minder and currently as a Girl Guide leader.  As previously mentioned I am also a fully qualified staff nurse.  Tony is a maths Teacher and has been doing this for more years than he cares to remember!  In the school holidays he will be working in the nursery and is the main carer for our resident fish!

Our General Manager at Beach House is Sue Roberts.  She will be the primary contact for all parents.  She is also responsible for recruitment, staff appraisal and ensuring staff development.  She also deputises for Helen in her absence.  Sue is a mother of two children, and has experience of looking after children in a voluntary capacity; she is a teaching assistant at a local dance school and is a unit helper at a local Guide company.  Sue has been previously employed as a manager in the retail industry.

Tannia Camillare is our Nursery Manager, a qualified and experienced nursery manager who together with the management team plans activities and outings for the children.  At all times your children will be cared for by correct staff to child ratios as suggested by the CSIW (Care Standards Institute of Wales).  From time to time there will be students studying for child care qualifications, students will not be left in sole charge of the children, they will be supervised by experienced staff at all times.  All staff at Beach House are put through rigorous reference and character checks, in accordance with the CSIW regulations, prior to commencing employment with us.
